- Led the organization of a science outreach program that drew over 3000+ local residents to a multi-day educational tour of science demonstrations, interactive exhibits, local business, and a makers fair
- Held weekly team meetings with 7+ interdisciplinary student volunteers to delegate tasks and ensure projects were being completed by deadlines and that the overall timeline of the event was met
- Volunteer positions included child safety, event set up, attendance coordination, local business outreach, vendor scheduling, social media outreach and local permitting
- Periodically, meet with local makerspace to coordinate needs for the maker fair that took place on the last day of the event
- Scheduled and delivered training sessions to 150+ volunteers on child safety, what systems were in place, specific softwares to use and who to talk to if unexpected issues arose
- Performed on-site management and admin to ensure that the 150+ volunteers were following their training, answering questions that volunteers, parents, or local authorities had about the events of the day,managed volunteer attendance and scheduling, and the logistic of event setup and tear down
